Stakes

Every player of a chouette has a stake, a number within the range the chouette's settings allow. It is what each point of a game is worth to them; what a "unit" means is up to your group. Choue keeps the score and moves no money.

  • Change Stake on the overlay between games sets yours. Your stake carries over to the chouette's next sessions.
  • A game is scored with the smaller stake of the two players: points × cube × stake, the points being 1, 2 for a gammon and 3 for a backgammon.
  • If your stake is outside the chouette's range, for example after the range changed, you are asked to change it before you play on.
