Pause and resume a game

A game against a bot with a clock pauses by itself when you leave it: when you switch to another page of Choue, another browser tab or another app. Your clock stops, and the game carries on when you come back.

Games against people do not pause. Their clock keeps running, so plan your breaks between games, or ask your opponent to suspend the match with you (see Resign, suspend, or leave a game).
